Accessibility statement

How the Providence Biohazard website is built to be accessible, and how to report a problem with any page.

Our aim

This website is meant to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation or larger text. The target is level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

What has been done

  • Text and buttons are checked for color contrast.
  • The body font, Atkinson Hyperlegible, was designed for readers with low vision.
  • Every page has one main heading, a skip link and a breadcrumb.
  • You can open the menus from the keyboard, and Escape closes them.
  • Images have text descriptions, and the site works without JavaScript.

Tell us about a problem
